FREE International Dance Day Celebration

Every year on April 29th, International Dance Day is celebrated worldwide with the mission of bringing people together through the common language of dance! This year, Dance in TriBeCa will be joining the movement to promote appreciation and support of dance in all its forms by holding a series of FREE classes on International Dance Day 2018! 

We will be offering six 20-minute sessions in a variety of styles including Hip Hop, Zumba, AfroDance, Jazz, Heels, and Commercial Contemporary. So mark your calendars and come join us as we share in the joy, value, and importance of dance!

Women's Celebration - March 22nd

 In honor of National Women’s History Month, Dance in TriBeCa will be hosting a series of FREE dance workshops to celebrate our community of strong and powerful women! 

On Thursday, March 22nd, between 6:30 and 9:30, we will be offering five 30-minute dance sessions, taught by some of our amazing faculty, including Angel Kaba, Mariette Marino, Julius Elegido, and Mally Reber. We invite you to come express yourself during an evening of dance and movement, with styles such as Hip-Hop, Jazz Burlesque, Dance & Fitness, Contemporary Movement, and Afrodance. Classes are open to both men and women, and all levels are welcome. Hope to see you there!

Dance in Tribeca at the 12th Annual Dance Parade in NYC

10,000 dancers, 80+ Unique styles of dance.150+ groups come together to participate in this "movement" of dance! This United Nations of dance presents ballet to breakdance and everything in between. Dance Parade is a non-profit orgnaization that advocates the health and cultural benefits of dance.

Dance in Tribeca will participate and perform at the Dance Parade!!

IWD - International Women's Day Workshop - March8th

Since 1909, every year New York is celebrating Women's Day to commemorates the movement for women's rights. On March 8th, for the first time, Dance in TriBeCa will celebrate International Women's Day by offering a heels dance workshop with Mally Reber

Mally's Heels class is created to have students feeling like they can conquer the world in their favorite pair of heels. She focuses on each students strengths and encourages them to ultimate greatness. This dance class will combine jazz, lines, technique, high performance moves and essential hair whips. Its never to late to learn how to dance in heels.

NEW YEAR Kid's performance workshop - Jan,27th & 28th


Happy 2018!

Come and celebrate with us at Dance in Tribeca! We will be dancing through the rhythms of Afro’Dance, Hip Hop and Contemporary as well as making our way to the year of 2018 dancing and extra motivated!

These young students will be guided through a fun way of exploration of different body movements, musicality and rhythms while starting this new year sparked, learning and having fun.

Dance in Tribeca Open House - Jan,19 & 20


Dance in Tribeca is a fully inclusive and deeply engaging dance studio in New York city, that brings dance and diversity for kids and the entire family. It is owned by the international artistic director, Angel Kaba, a producer, director, choreographer and dancer from Belgium. Passionate about dance since the age of 6, Kaba is now a strong artist that has collaborated with celebrities, singers, dancers, and visionaries from around the world such as Rihanna, Kanye West, Coolio, Alfonso Ribeiro and the list goes on.

This year, Dance in Tribeca is excited to celebrate a brand new start with all of you, and will be hosting an Open House for the year of 2018 on Friday, January 19th, along with Saturday 20th, for a special celebration for children.

We will be offering free* demo classes for individuals and dancers of all interests and experience levels, to come and dance with us to the sounds of different rhythms and music of Afro Dance, Hip Hop and lot of other surprising styles.
